Boiler and CentralHeating Cover

Finding an engineer that you can trust for any issues you face with your boiler can be a very stressful moment. Different prices, not being sure how competent they are, when will they be next available. Many questions going through your head. This is before they’ve even stepped through your front door.

A properly qualified gas safe engineer who knows what they are doing can run homeowners £100s in repairs for your boiler, but OneProtect can help tackle every single one of these problems by signing up to one of our plans.

How exactly? We have many years of experience in this industry, and over time we’ve learned every rule in the book. This puts us in a position to know which engineers we can rely on and who we can add to our network of professionals. By doing so, we can provide our customers with the best possible service while reducing costs through our service plans.

As a result, we remove the hassle of finding your own engineer and ensure you have one available as soon as possible. This also avoids the burden of a massive invoice that you would otherwise have to pay. It’s a win-win for everyone!

For Landlords

We understand that you want to ensure your tenants are safe at all times and have access to hot water and heating whenever they need it. However, balancing their needs with your own can be difficult. That’s why we offer a peace-of-mind experience where we arrange any necessary repairs directly with your tenants. This way, a boiler repair in your rental property is sorted out without you having to get involved in any way. You can enjoy the hassle-free experience of owning a property without worrying about the workload that comes with it.

We are also able to arrange visits to ensure that your tenants are in a safe environment and that your boiler is in line with gas safe regulations by providing a landlord gas certificate once a year upon your request and correct any mistakes if present with our fully qualified, gas safe engineers.

Here at OneProtect, we strongly believe that the longevity of the brand will only last as long as the customers have faith in our product. That is why we absolutely avoid technicalities and other loopholes that others may be taking advantage of to avoid protecting customers with their plans. The first approach we have taken to do this is by not bombarding you with multiple legal documents and terms and conditions but instead have constructed a one-piece, well designed and simplified document that covers it all, so there is no possibility of you missing any of the fine print. We want to keep our customers satisfied at all times and will always provide the facility to do so where possible.

Our plans aim is to provide genuine value to our customers by making affordable plans that protect you in the event of a boiler problem, but there are some exclusions in our plans that is essential for us to include in order to make our service possible for you all.

Faults in your boiler caused by debris or limescale, and specifically your heat exchanger (many homeowners with plans elsewhere are not in fact aware of this as it's only mentioned in the fine print)

Basic user-friendly tasks such as pressuring the boiler or bleeding your radiators (we can guide you on what to do in this scenario over the phone but cannot arrange an engineer for this)

Trace and access. This is the process of finding the root of the fault. For example, if you have a leak but are not sure where exactly it is coming from. We will only make the repairs for the leak

Accidental damage, misuse if someone other than us carrying out works and cause a fault will not be covered by us.

Boiler or other systems and appliances that have not been fitted as the manufacturer’s instructions and irregular annual services

Faults in your property that occurred within the first 14 days or any pre-existing faults.
